This is the new slogan of DVD-Ranger. Thanks to the new Cloud Uploader, DVD Ranger is now able to automatically upload copies of your movies into your personal Cloud.
The Cloud Uploader is compatible with every Cloud service using the FTP upload service.
The DVD-Ranger team suggests the Professional Account of Livedrive.com. The Livedrive.com Professional Account enables you to upload via FTP and watch your movies online or on your mobile device; or you can easily stream back your movies to your HCP (HomeCinemaPlayer). Cloud Uploader suits everyone’s taste!
Important: If you are already use a Cloud Account, please ensure the FTP compatibility before using Cloud Uploader. Free Cloud-provider, like JustCloud, does not offer FTP Upload services and thus cannot be used with Cloud Uploader. For a fast and easy service we recommend Livedrive Pro.

Work with the Cloud Uploader:
To make use of the DVD Ranger Cloud Uploader you first need to enter your Cloud login data of the Cloud service you are using. Start the DVD-Ranger application, open the “settings dialogue” or press “F7” and pick the “cloud tab”.
1.) Chose the Cloud service you are using.
2.) Type the FTP server address in case you do not use Livedrive.com.
3.) Enter your account name.
4.) Enter your password. The password will be stored encrypted for privacy reasons.
5.) Select the folder in which you store your movies and videos in the Cloud (e.g. /video).
Click “OK” to save your FTP related data.
Open the “Select location” dialogue to select a file and the folder you want to save online. Enable the Cloud service by activating the “Upload to Cloud” option.
The selected file will not be stored in the Cloud if this option is not enabled.
Start the Cload Uploader
The Cloud Uploader can be started over the DVD-Ranger application itself or via the Startmenu. The Cloud Uploader allows only one running instance at the same time and thus starts only once.
Please note that the Cloud Uploader starts without an own application window.
Using the Cloud Uploader
The Cloud Uploader works automatically. If it detects an entry in the Upload Queue, it will automatically synchronize this entry with the selected Cloud service. Up to 6 videos can be uploaded simultaneously and Cloud Uploader will always utilize any empty upload slot available automatically as long as files a queued up.
To access the status window, simply click on the Tray Icon.
To assign files manually, simply click on the Tray Icon and then on “Add File To Upload Queue”.
Hint: Cloud Uploader can be configured only through the DVD-Ranger Software.
Problems: To overcome upload problems, simply close and restart the DVD-Ranger Uploader. Faulty uploads will simply be uploaded again.
